Vitamin x someday designs

Last Monday we spent the day in Islington shooting the latest addition to our in-house collection; the case pendant, that we have designed in collaboration with Vitamin and are set to launch this September at Maison & Objet (more details on this soon..)

Coincidentally we first met Vitamin back in Sept 2016 at the very same M&O show! Here we immediately fell in love with their lighting and furniture collections.  They were amongst the first design partners we took on and their pitch pendant, k lamps , eclipse tables and ninety stool have become some of our most popular pieces.

The partnership has extended into a friendship and it seemed the next natural step to work on a project together - our design values and principles are completely aligned as is our love and respect for honest materials, craftsmanship and quality.

Since the beginning of the year we have been designing and finessing the case pendant - bringing you an elegant, versatile and affordable lighting solution that is handmade in the UK.  We have overseen every stage of the production process from mould making, slip casting, sponging and kiln firing - and we are delighted with the results.  The pendant reflects our minimal design aesthetic and has a beautiful tactile quality thanks to the texture of the ceramic earthenware.  

It's always so rewarding to see our product come to life on location and within a home environment.  We had such a fun day shooting with Yeshen (who also did our sofas by someday photography). He is such a talented photographer and so easy to work with as he gets the lighting and angles of each shot right so quickly.
