As 2017 draws to a close it's a great chance to reflect on everything we have learnt, achieved and aspire towards as we step into the new year ahead. 

Below we share with you our key milestones during our first year as someday designs - which many of you have been a part of and as always we are incredibly grateful for all your support.

our website goes live

One of our most important achievements came at the beginning of the year with the launch of our website.  Having done all the navigation, set up and customisation details ourselves it was a steep (techy) learning curve! 
Our aim has always been to bring together pieces we love in the form of a 'gallery' space with a clean and minimal look.  Something we continue to check back on and strive to achieve.

Since launching we have taken on 17 design partners, with the majority supporting us from the very beginning.  Each partner brings something new to our assortment whether it be a skill, technique or product category.
These partnerships have really grown over the year to form close and committed relationships.  We owe a lot of our success to these collaborations.

A project we have been working on all year!
It's really important to us that we are a retailer and a maker.  Our background is in sourcing and product design so we remain passionate about creating pieces for people to love and keep.  With so much choice out there we want to make shopping sofas simple.  We've worked on the best shapes and fabrics bringing together an easy-to-shop edit.

our first pop-up and exhibition at designjunction

As a London based brand we were so proud to be part of London Design Festival with our first pop-up space at designjunction.

It was an incredible experience.  The show had such a sense of community where we met lots of inspiring brands and fellow exhibitors.  It was made all the more special as it was the first time we had stepped outside of our virtual store and had the opportunity to host our own shop, in person.  It gave us the chance to meet and chat to so many of you, an unforgettable event.

We've recently introduced a trade service for all interior designers, architects and specifiers who can now benefit from exclusive discounts through us.  We can also help with your sourcing and delivery consolidation needs.
It's enabled us to work on some really exciting projects from hotels to cafes to children's play centres and has helped to build our design credentials within the industry.

nominated for 2 awards

What a great way to end the year.   We were so excited to hear we had been nominated for 2 awards as part of Best of Royal Greenwich Business awards 2018.  

- Young Entrepreneur of the year award, for those of us 35 and under who have started their business in the last 3 years.

- Digital Leadership award, for Greenwich businesses using ecommerce to achieve great customer experience, strong online functionality and innovative digital plans for the future.
